Description
JFJ (or Jonas Frederik Jos) is an indie folk rock band (or something) from the outskirts of the Belgian empire that first saw the light of day in 2009. After swinging around some demo’s and playing some shows, they occupied Anton Walgrave’s farm/studio to record a few songs for the hypothetical posterity.
Staf Verbeeck (Hooverphonic, Metal Molly, dEUS) mixed it all together at the Jet studio in Brussels, making an E.P. with “a slightly addictive quality” (Rifraf), like Eels at a tea party with Wilco listening to what Bob Dylan would be making if The Beatles were still around. Guaranteed to shake yer granny’s hips and make your father cry in untamable emotion. And vice versa.
