LITTLE TROUBLE KIDS is a NOISEPOP DUO from Ghent, Belgium making catchy herky-jerky tunes with a mere acoustic guitar in overdrive, a HOMEMADE STOMPBOX (powered by a pair of flamenco shoes on speed) and their squeaky voices.
Somewhere down the road they bumped into a madly enthusiastic TIM VANHAMEL (Millionaire, dEUS, Eagles of Death Metal) who dragged them to the home studio of dEUS (without dEUS’ consent…) to produce their debut album. Vanhamel employed a strict DIY-MENTALITY for his first production job ever: in two mind-blowing days the eleven songs were caught live on tape adding just a few wacko overdubs.
Little Trouble Kids’ raging live-reputation in the Belgian club scene and their fierce, punky songs were soon noticed by John Peel’s sweethearts THE UNDERTONES who invited Little Trouble Kids personally to support them on their 35th Anniversary Tour in the UK.
Little Trouble Kids rushes by like a speed train and the people of Jezus Factory very soon helped them to release their debut album in the UK.
