After 9 years we figured that it was nigh time that we had a new website after the label and distribution of other labels has grown at such a rate that things had begun to look a little cluttered and confusing. We hope that this new site and also webshop is more user friendly and also enjoyable to use and have tried to make the distinction clear between the records we release and the records we distribute. with mixed feelings that we announce the FINAL Creature With The Atom Brain record ‘Night Of The Hunter’ definitely one of THE seminal Antwerp bands of the last 10 years, they bow out with a hypnotic set of five suites that include guests such as the omnipresent Mark Lanegan (who has appeared on every Creature With The Atom Brain full length), Tom Barman, Tim Vanhamel and Alain Johannes; alongside many key Belgian musicians as detailed if you click on the release… It is certainly a great record to bow out on and we feel that time will judge it more than favourably, it really is special and is again different to what has gone before… So; enjoy and please dry your eyes as we know that Aldo Struyf has other projects up his sleeve as well as his very very busy schedule with The Mark Lanegan band and his new project with Lyenn – The Faye Dunaways… Jan Wygers and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen are busy with the wonderful Condor Gruppe and Dave Schroyen is very active with Birds That Change Colour. Please note that this commitment to these other projects is the reason for the split and everyone is amicable and am sure in typical Belgian style will wind up working together again under different guises. We would like to say a personal thanks for the many, many good times and for allowing us to make a dream come true by releasing a record with Mark Lanegan on it.
