Born To Raise Hell, Live To Win, Bad Religion, Eat The Rich, Bomber, Please Don’t Touch

This Antwerp band was founded in 2012 as a tribute to Motörhead and uncompromising and completely unique rock ‘roll icon Lemmy Kilmister. Amörtisseur is certainly not a regular cover group. Own interpretations of Motörhead classics are brought in the culturally tasty Antwerp dialect. The numbers stand like a house in reinforced concrete, raw, hard and pure. The lyrics are about women, sex, women, drink, religion and Life in all its misery.

Amörtisseur was founded by the three Johan Cootmans, Luc Bas and Bart Deckers, who have been playing rock’n roll for 20 years. In 2014 the EP “Schuppen Aas” appeared and two years later the very well received debut album “Lemmium” followed. Amörtisseur has a very strong live reputation and their high-profile shows have turned a lot of venues and festivals upside down.

“I hang it out” contains, in addition to a very striking cover, 6 painful adaptations of Motörhead songs and the band could count on guest contributions from, among others, Goe Vur In Den Otto, Die van Ons, Nen Halve Neuro and Marcel Vanthilt.

Love for rock & roll, respect for Lemmy, nice cracks without water to do with a set of Antwerp Motörhead songs. Hard, retentive and an attack on the eardrums …. Amörtisseur has it all!
