Belgian roots band The Baboons include Wim De Busser from Zita Swoon in their ranks and toured with Bo Diddley! Read a nice review here that explains it well…
The late Derroll Adams was credited with bringing the banjo to Europe. His songs have been covered by Joan Baez, Marianne Faithfull and Arlo Gutherie. These live recordings on Belgian radio from 1973-1980 capture the spirit of Derroll Adams. You read more about him here.
Last but no means least Tape Cuts Tape are gearing up for their third album ‘Lost Footage’ and have made a video to the song Sway Daemons
The album will be released in March on Heavenhotel and in our webshop in due course…
In what looks to be a very busy year for Heavenhotel we must also introduce Tone Zones a surf guitar band of Elko Blijweert and Milan Warmoeskerken who from what I have already heard are going to be very special indeed…
